No Work-From-Home order for PM Package Employees: Div Com

SRINAGAR , Aug 14: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg clarified that no order has been issued asking employees appointed under the Prime Minister’s Package to work from home ahead of Independence Day.

The clarification came amid reports that PM Package employees had been verbally directed to work from home in view of security concerns ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.

Garg said, urged people to rely on official government and administration channels for authentic information.

He said the administration, in coordination with security agencies, had put in place necessary arrangements for the safety of employees, residents and the general public ahead of the celebrations.

He added that we should rely on the authentic information channels that are provided by the government and the administration.

Anshul also extended Independence Day greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and invited residents of Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir to attend the main Independence Day function at Bakshi Stadium on Saturday.
