JAMMU, Aug 10: On Monday, Vivek Agarwal, IAS, ADDC Budgam, flagged off a group of 16 farmers from District Budgam and District Srinagar for a four-day Inter-State Farmers’ Training & Exposure Visit to Kargil, UT of Ladakh, under the ATMA Action Plan 2026–27.
The exposure visit aims to provide farmers with practical learning, exposure to innovative horticultural and agricultural practices, and an opportunity to interact with farmers and experts in the region.
The Chief Horticulture Officer, Budgam, along with other district officers and officials, was also present during the flag-off ceremony.
