Srinagar, July 31:CAT questions JKPSC for not filling reply since 17 years: Closes right to file, but lists case on 1.12.2026.
The Order reads "In T.A./2046/2020 (SRINAGAR) titled ISHFAQ HUSSAIN BHAT Vs D/O PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION after hearing CAT ordered as under:-
The matter pertains to the year 2009 in which respondent no. 1 and 2 have filed reply.
However, the JKPSC has not filed the reply. There is no reason for this Court to extend the time of filing reply by JKPSC that too after 17 years.
As such, at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the right to file reply by JKPSC is closed.
List this matter on 01.12.2026.
