Jammu, Jul 20: Seven people were killed when their house was struck by a landslide in the rain-hit Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, reports said.
The incident occurred in the higher reaches of Loran village.
The house hit by the landslide was mud House , reports said.
LG Manoj Sinha said “A tragic landslide caused by heavy rainfall in Poonch has resulted in the loss of seven precious lives.
I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families during this difficult time.
Senior Officials have been directed to extend immediate relief and all necessary assistance to those affected.”
