JAMMU, July 09: A district-level Atal Pension Yojana Outreach Program will be held tomorrow, 10th July, 2026, at Country Inn, Jammu, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event is being organised under the guidance of the J&K Union Territory Level Bankers' Committee, by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority — PFRDA, in coordination with SLBC and the Lead District Manager, SBI Jammu. Senior officials from PFRDA, UTLBC, banks, government departments, and financial institutions will attend, along with Business Correspondents and other stakeholders.
The program aims to expand awareness of the Atal Pension Yojana, especially among workers in the unorganised sector. It will feature inaugural addresses, presentations on APY benefits, sharing of best practices, a question-and-answer session, and felicitation of top performers.
The Atal Pension Yojana offers a government-guaranteed monthly pension of up to 5,000 rupees after the age of 60, helping citizens build systematic savings and long-term financial security.
Officials have urged the general public — especially those working in the informal sector — to attend the event, learn about the scheme, and enrol to secure their retirement. The venue: Country Inn, Jammu. The time: 10 AM to 2 PM, tomorrow, 10th July.
