Jammu, July 05: It is talk of the town that JDA Bosses adopting "Pick & Choose" for actions after issuance of Notices under various Section.
However, now, one can see, misuse of powers on the part of Collector & Estate Officer of JDA that they have cancelled allotments of various shops/halls etc etc by quoting various terms & conditions followed by Eviction Orders but if JDA was receiving rent for every concern per month & in first they should have returned fixed amount of lakhs received by them during allotment with compound interest pf 18% PA as they charge as late fee for their issues following lot would have preferred cancellations?
However, all such Apllicants were constrained to approach Honble High Court for justice & by understanding the harassment caused by JDA/Collector & Estate Officer of JDA, High Court stayed around 12 number of Cancellation Orders issued by Collector & Eviction Notices issued by one JKAS Officer working as Tehsildar, JDA, but who is sleeping on lot of other issues.
However, 04 such illegal orders have been stayed on Ist July & other 08 have been stayed on 4th of July 2026, details with CTN read as under:-
