Hyderabad, July 04: Telangana Govt cracks down on Food Adulteration: CS Sanjay Jaju orders statewide surprise inspections.
Following the directions of Chief Minister @revanth_anumula, Chief Secretary has ordered strict action against food adulteration and unhygienic food practices across the State.
Chairing a high-level review meeting, the CS directed officials to intensify surprise inspections, ensure strict enforcement of food safety norms, and improve coordination between the Drug Control and Food Safety departments.
He also asked officials to submit proposals within a week to bring both departments onto a common platform and adopt best practices from other States.
The meeting also reviewed food safety cases, staffing, and enforcement measures to strengthen public health protection.
