JAMMU, July 04: In a major crackdown against immoral trafficking, Rural Police Jammu unearthed an alleged sex racket during a raid conducted at a house in Ward No. 2, Kashmiri Mohalla, Akhnoor, on the basis of credible information.
In this connection, FIR No. 164/2026 has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor under the relevant provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
During the operation, three accused persons, including the house owner, were arrested: 1. Ravi Gupta (House Owner), resident of Ward No. 2, Akhnoor 2. Sarishta Devi, resident of Chowki Choura, Akhnoor 3. Sahil Sharma, resident of Sungal, Akhnoor Further investigation is underway to identify other persons involved, ascertain the full extent of the alleged illegal activities, and take appropriate legal action as per law.
Jammu Police reiterates its commitment to taking firm action against immoral trafficking and other organized crimes to ensure public safety and uphold the rule of law.
