Jammu, July 01: There are questions on Estate Officer of JDA for adopting "Pick & Choose"
However, if scrutinised, the file of allotment of one case of allotment, a case of vested considerations, malafidies, lack of knowledge, of concerned officers Officers, who woke up to harass innocents after 21 years of allotment shall be detected.
It has come to understand that last month countless Notices have been issued by both the "Collector" & "Estate Officer" for cancellation & Eviction of Premises but had both officers bothered to refund the amount taken for allotments & if were illegal, why JDA was accepting rent regularly are some questions?
Now, one more issue, which raised questions on Collector & Estate officer is that the said concern has been cancelled by quoting lease period of 40 years is over, which is false as lease of said concern was executed around 12 years back & 2nd condition was that application for allotment was submitted by applicant after cut of date of 31.05.2005, otherwise both conditions imposed by these Officers needed to be verified as Applicant has full file record & page number wise through RTI.
The detailed reply of applicant given by him dtd. 16.04.2026 in ref to Collectors Show Cause Notice dtd. 28.03.2026 , wherein applicant had quoted the complete story from May, 2005 to till day, that if so the fraud have been committed by concerned JDA Officers of the time, who had made allotments & if are done in fraudulent means, the case be referred to CBI/ Crime or ACB to detect the fraud as a whole.
However, sleeping on that side by Collector after reply of show cause notice of Collector dtd 28th March 2026 is there to see.
