JAMMU, May 18: Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha in an interview National News Channel News 18 said Statehood will also be restored as assured by PM and HM.
LG said “After Article 370’s abrogation, delimitation and peaceful elections were completed without violence or repolls. Statehood will also be restored as assured by the PM and Home Minister.”
LG added “Our security agencies are working with complete seriousness. Whether it is Telegram, WhatsApp or any other platform, agencies are monitoring every aspect and the situation will remain under control. Drugs are directly linked to terror funding and terrorism.”
LG Manoj Sinha said “Recruitment in terror ranks has become almost negligible. None of their top commanders have survived. Infiltration attempts will also face the same fate. The country now knows who carried out the Pahalgam attack. Our Army and CRPF, through Operation Mahadev, settled scores precisely.
The way PM Modi took a firm stand, the targets identified were hit in an accurate operation within 48 to 72 hours.”
Sinha said in the last 38 days, 766 FIRs have been registered, 856 people arrested and 677 kg of drugs seized. Passports, Aadhaar tracking, lookout notices and property demolitions are all part of the crackdown. Our focus is on two things — breaking the supply chain and creating awareness against drugs.
