Chandigarh, May 11: CBI carried out a raid at the Punjab Vigilance Bureau headquarters in Mohali. During the late-night operation, officials questioned employees in connection with a corruption case to alleged bribery in a property transaction case
The agency also examined official records of the Vigilance Bureau as part of the investigation.
The raid was carried out by a Chandigarh-based CBI team under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The agency also conducted searches at a residence in Malout town of Muktsar district, in Punjab.

The Punjab Vigilance Bureau said it will fully cooperate with the investigation and allow the law to take its course if the name of any official surfaces in the probe.
