Jammu, May 04: In much talked demolition drive by JDA, MLA Bishnah Rajeev Kumar stood in front of JCB to stop demolition of a house & thereafter other BJP, MLAs including CP Ganga, Dr Narinder Singh questioned working of JDA Officers/Officials for such acts.
MLA Vijaypur CP Ganga said that they only collect money & thereafter do such like actions.
One Tehsildar with powers of Chief Khilaf Warzi Officer with her team of "Patwaris" who have been assigned charge of KWIs in addition to their duties to loot public and along with other officers, in a demolition drive along Ring Road demolished around 15 structures in wee hours of morning.
MLA's & public questioned the said act of JDA bosses and said otherwise days are too long to act?
They said that on Tuesday they will meet DC Jammu & VC JDA to show their concern over the illegal actions by JDA Bosses under Tehsildar Megha Gupta, CKO, by adopting "Pick & Choose" as otherwise in lot of cases she issued notices but no actions thereof.
This raised question on integrity of Tehsildar & working as well that had she bothered to act In khasra no 781 & others, where notices under JK Public Premises (Eviction of Un Authorised)Act and for violation under COBA stands issued since long & why she is sleeping for further actions required under rules & which desired under rules in a prescribed period of time, needed to be enquired ?
However, JDA's action on poor for raising construction over their own proprietary land without building permission which should might have been taken in a linient or different manner by considering their actual cases. Above all, it be verified that how many BP Cases are pending in CTP Sections & since how many months along with pending NOC s in Revenue & Collectors Office for BP Cases.
It is also a matter of action that for a long website of BP cases was not in operations, had responsibilty for delay in clearing BP cases has been fixed otherwise UBBL says, one can start its construction, if BP cases not cleared in 30 days also needed to be acted upon to verify that how many BP cases are pending in JDA beyond 30 days .
But, it is well aware of the fact JDA is habitual for taking action against poor by leaving powerful & well connected other side in violation of Art 14 & 16 of COI.
It is also to mention the encroachment done by big Players in various areas of Jammu, whereas superficial action initiated but no concrete action taken.
This shows JDA's different approach for rich and poor needed to be enquired & acted upon for their illegal acts.
