Daughter of Soil,  "Rinki Singh Kathua based" represents India at UN ECOSOC Youth Forum

JAMMU, Apr 21: Daughter of Soil, Rinki Singh from Jammu represented India at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum held in New York, USA, from April 14 to 16.

Rinki was among only five students selected from across the country, chosen for her exceptional talent and leadership qualities through a highly competitive selection process conducted by the Government of India.

The ECOSOC Youth Forum is a prestigious global platform that brings together young leaders to discuss pressing international issues such as sustainable development, climate change and youth empowerment.

During the three-day event, Rinki Singh actively participated in discussions related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She also engaged with policymakers, diplomats, and youth representatives from various countries, gaining valuable international exposure.

Rinki Singh is the daughter of Mohinder Singh, retired Supervisor from Irrigation Department. She is also the grand daughter of Late Dhian Singh, Ex MLA Billawar.
