Kaputhala, Apr 21: SSP Gaurav Toora said that this morning, Kapurthala Police received reports of a gunshot wound to Yogesh Kumar, a DSP posted in Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), who was transferred to the Bureau of Investigation (BOI) a few days earlier.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital and declared dead on arrival.
Statements from family members have been taken. It has emerged that he woke up in the morning feeling well.
He was then cleaning his weapon when it fired and a bullet hit him.
