SRINAGAR, Nov 22: The invigilator staff deployed on 12th class examination duty at Government Higher Secondary School, Tikipora, Lolab in district Kupwara has been removed and placed under suspension following complaints of copying at the said examination centre.
Taking cognizance of the complaints of abetment of copying by the invigilator staff and the cops deployed at the said examination centre, the Minister for Education, Mr Naeem Akhtar asked the Director School Education Kashmir to initiate immediate disciplinary action against the Education Department employees.
Following the directions of the Minister, the invigilator staff and the Principal of the Higher Secondary School have been placed under suspension pending inquiry to be conducted by the SDM Lolab.
Meanwhile, in separate action the Director General Police (DGP) has also placed under suspension the cops deployed on examination duty at the said examination centre.
“I have ordered a thorough probe to be conducted by SDM Lolab into the complaints of abetment of copying by the invigilator staff and the cops,” Mr Akhtar said and added that pending inquiry the staff alongwith the Principal of the institute have been placed under suspension.
