Jammu, Apr 06: There are countless issues for clearing of Building Permission Cases in jurisdiction of PDA despite no revision of Master Plan of Patnitop Dev Authority since the day previous Master Plan was notified in the year 2000 i.e. 26 years back & same Building Bye Laws are being allowed till day in violation of J&K Development Act of 1970 but BOCA meetings are being conducted without noticing the said serious issue on clearing BP Cases?
However, now, BOCA has started creating hinderances in the development of plots of concerns, who wanted to level or fence their plots by this way or the other & latest example can be seen from the communication of PDA addressed to DFO, Udhampur vide No. PDA/BOCA/3/2025-03/232-33 & other 234-35 dtd. 30.04.2025 for seeking NOC from Forest Department i.e. more than 11 months back of the plots, which are on the main road.
This is a serious issue to be looked into by BOCA Chairmen to avoid such intentional delays.
However, CEO, PDA has now issued a reminder to DFO, Udhampur, vide No. PDA/BOCA.4/2025-3/2600-01 & 2606=07 Dated: 20.03.2026 for issuance of NOC.
