Jammu, Apr 05: The High Court has while hearing WP(C) No. 1776/2020 set aside the dismissal of a Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) official, holding that the departmental enquiry against him was vitiated by procedural lapses and violation of principles of natural justice, and directing authorities to process his pension and consequential benefits.
Justice Sanjay Dhar allowed a writ petition filed by Gopal Krishan, a former Enforcement Inspector with the JMC, who had challenged his dismissal from service ordered on May 20, 2020.
