Jammu, March 01: There are countless questions on working of lot of officers of Jammu Development Authority for violating Rules & Laws.
However, Cross Town News is in possession of countless documents of illegalities committed/being committed by bosses of Jammu Development Authority & list is big & long but top among all are, overruling clear cut orders of then VC, JDA & DC Samba by Tehsildar level officer.
However, now top among all in highlights is amending "Lease Deed" of a Hotel/Restaurant on its own land measuring 7k changed the Land Use from Hotel to Commercial without placing the matter before the Board of Directors of JDA, thus resulting in loss of Finance/Revenue for not charging the fee for change of Land Use, needed to be enquired by a high level committee.
However, the matter of said building was in litigations since years and is at prime most location in Jammu.
It is also to mention here that some shops at Bahu Plaza were cancelled, which were allotted by JDA & decisions were passed by Court but recently, the present VC, JDA allowed one big shop at Bahu Plaza of one top Cloth Merchant after some court directions from High Court , otherwise till disposal one & same procedure could have adopted by VC to do justice with such like cases?
