World Brahmin Federation Delegation calls on Satish Sharma in Delhi



 New Delhi, Dec 1: A delegation of the World Brahmin Federation (WBF), led by Chairman Shashikant Sharma, President K.C. Pandey, and Vice President Kailash Sharma, called on Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, IT, Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma in New Delhi today.

The World Brahmin Federation serves as a global umbrella body representing Brahmin organizations across various countries. Currently, WBF operates 28 units worldwide and functions as an integrated platform supporting nearly 234 associated organizations. The delegation discussed community welfare, social empowerment, and the need to strengthen brotherhood and harmony among all communities and religions. They appreciated Satish Sharma’s inclusive approach and welcomed the J&K Government’s decision to provide meaningful representation to the Brahmin community in the Cabinet.

The WBF leadership conveyed that lakhs of members across India and abroad have expressed happiness over Satish Sharma’s induction into the Cabinet, calling it a moment of pride for the community.

The Federation also announced plans to hold a mega convention in Jammu & Kashmir, focusing on cultural preservation, youth engagement, and community upliftment.

Additionally, several prominent industry leaders from different sectors also met the Minister and expressed their keen interest in exploring business and investment opportunities in Jammu & Kashmir, including projects in logistics, tourism, IT, and infrastructure. Satish Sharma thanked all delegations for their support and reaffirmed Omar Abdullah Government’s commitment to inclusive development, social harmony, and creating a favourable environment for investors in the Jammu and Kashmir
