Chandigarh ,Oct 20: Former Punjab Director General of Police Mohammad Mustafa, his wife and former Cabinet Minister Razia Sultana, along with their daughter and daughter-in-law, have been booked for criminal conspiracy and the alleged murder of Mustafa’s son Aqil Akhtar in Panchkula.
The case was registered at MDC police station, Panchkula, under Sections 103(1) and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), after their neighbour Shamsuddin lodged a complaint with the Panchkula Police Commissioner.
Shamsuddin accused the family of being involved in Aqil’s suspicious death and made explosive claims about illicit relationships and domestic conflicts within the household.
Shamsuddin alleged that Aqil’s wife and father, Mohammad Mustafa, were involved in an illicit relationship, and that Razia Sultana was aware of and complicit in the affair.
