JAMMU, Oct 20: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo directed for Actions for managing Traffic flow for Commercial Activities in Jammu as well as Srinagar, Commissioner JMC Devansh Yadav acted in this matter, and Notices stand issued to top Restaurants/Others.
Sources told Cross Town News , a pivotal meeting of the Multidisciplinary Committee on Traffic Management Systems for Jammu & Srinagar was convened four months ago under chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo.
Sources told Cross Town News that directions were issued Actions to regulate the commercial activities impacting traffic flow will be identified, with the Transport Commissioner, JMC/SMC and potentially LCMA, being involved in this process and moreover, the key locations requiring road expansion or upgrading to accommodate the growing traffic volumes will be identified.
Sources told Cross Town News that Commissioner JMC Devansh Yadav took the lead and constituted Committee vide Order no MCJ/JC (R&E)/537-44 , dated 20.09.2025 to identify the Commercial Establishments likely to create Public nuisance.
Sources told that since 10th October , notices stand issued to Top Restaurants/Other concerns including some Nursing Home having no Parking.
