Govt constitutes a committee to report discrepancies  in 03 Schools: Salaries  of 03 Teachers put on hold & 02 attached

RAJOURI OCT 17:-Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka, Mr. Dil Mir, during a surprise inspection of government schools in Kewal Panchayat, detected several discrepancies and irregularities in the functioning and enrollment records of Government Middle School Bejee and Government Primary School Narbani of Kotranka Education Zone.

Following the inspection, the ADC, vide letter dated October 16, 2025, directed Chief Education Officer Rajouri to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter.

CEO constituted a three-member committee comprising the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Kandi, Zonal Education Officer Koteranka, and the Headmaster of Government High School Budhal, which has been tasked to visit the schools, examine all records, and submit a detailed report with personal observations within three days.

Pending the inquiry, the CEO has withheld the salaries of the teachers posted at the two schools namely Mohammad Rafiq and Mohammad Bashir from Middle School Bejee, and Mohammad Naseeb and Hardesh Singh from Primary School Narbani

In addition, Teachers Naseeb Hussain and Hardesh Singh of Primary School Narbani have been detached and attached to Government Middle School Phagoli till further orders.

The CEO has also issued show-cause notices to all concerned Teachers, directing them to explain their positions within the stipulated time.

The final decision regarding disciplinary action will be taken after the submission of the committee’s inquiry report.
