JAMMU, Oct 18: Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Kumar Gupta, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Jammu, has been honored with a personalized postal stamp by the Department of Posts.
The stamp, presented by Shri Ashish Kumar, Sub-Postmaster, AIIMS Vijaypur, stands as a recognition of his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare services in the region.
This rare distinction places AIIMS Jammu and the Union Territory on the national map, as such personalized stamps have been conferred only upon a handful of distinguished healthcare personalities across the country who reflects leadership that heals, inspires, and unites.
In his characteristically humble manner, Dr. Gupta expressed gratitude for the honour, stating that, “True greatness doesn’t come from crowns, titles, or awards — it comes from how many people walk a little further because of the light you shared. Let others count the awards; I’ll keep counting the lives we light up along the way.”
He humbly accepts this honour bestowed upon him by the Department of Posts with gratitude and grace with a message, “If life ever offers you a choice between chasing recognition or spreading light — choose the light.
