Srinagar, Sep 19: CM, Omar Abdullah chaired a review meeting of the Industries & Commerce Department to take stock of progress on employment generation, MSME support, startups, artisans’ welfare, and industrial investments.
He shared that the Department has attracted investments worth over ₹4000 Cr in 2025–26, registered 1,127 startups, and extended support to 4.39 lakh artisans.
CM emphasized the need for timely completion of industrial estates and directed that benefits must directly reach our youth, artisans, and entrepreneurs.
Our Government remains firmly committed to transforming J&K into an investment hub and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for our people.
