Kupwara, Sep 4: At least 15 government employees were found absent from duty during a surprise inspection of various offices in Karnah subdivision by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Karnah, Zaffar Ahmed Lone, following multiple complaints of absenteeism from the public.
The absentees belonged to several departments including Sub-District Hospital, Food and Supplies, Integrated Child Development Services, Social Welfare and Sheep and Animal Husbandry, among others.
SDM said that we will be taking disciplinary action against them as per rules & Drawing and Disbursing Officers have been directed to ensure no employee remains unauthorized absent from their respective offices.
He added that this kind of negligence will not be tolerated. Employees must remain punctual and committed to their responsibilities.
