JAMMU, Sep 05:Government Schools to open in Jammu Division from 10th September after inspection.
Whereas Private Schools in Jammu Division also to open after Inspection accordingly as per timelines mentioned in the order.
Private School Association President Ajay Gupta have also confirmed the same while speaking to Cross Town News that Private Schools will also open on 10th September , as said Association have spoken to Authorities regarding the same, as some doubts were there as no specific date was mentioned for Private Schools.
Experts said that the delay in opening of Private Schools is also due to welcome order by Director School Education over Safety audit post flood.
However, In a welcome step by Director School Education , CEOs have also been asked to look into Safety Certficates to be submitted by all Private Schools in Jammu division before opening from concerned Department (PWD Departemnt) , as situation have changed post Floods, and keeping Safety of Students.
Director School Education Jammu Naseem Choudhary on 2nd September orderd that " The Safety of our Students , Teachers and Staff must remain the highest priority . It is essential that no School Building be reopened without thorough Structural assesment by Competetnt Authorities. Buildings that have submerged and have shown wign of damage must remian closed until they are certified as safe".
