JAMMU, Sep 05: High Profile Members of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board including Sudha Murty , Mother in Law of former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak , did not put any post on Tragedy , that took away 35 innocent lives.
Only Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, who also serves as the Chairman of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, was monitoring the situation himself , whereas rest of the Members were like spectators.
The Members include Sudha Murty, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vishveshvaranand Giriji Maharaj, Dr Ashok Bhan, Baleshwar Rai, Gunjan Rana, Dr K.K. Talwar, Kulbhushan Ahuja, s Lalit Bhasin, and Suresh Kumar Sharma.
It will be interesting to see whether these Members by the virtue of their position will question how the yatra was allowed even when there were Alerts issued on 25th August and even earlier for Reasi district in which Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board falls.
The Shrine Board itself has said the yatra was stopped only on 26th August , on which questions have been raised by CM Omar Abdullah , Congress Leaders , Intellectuals in Jammu and Kashmir.
