SRINAGAR , Aug 25: House Committee on alleged irregularities in Jal Jeevan Mission in Jammu and Kashmir held meeting in Srinagar , whereas retired IAS Officer Ashok Parmar attended the meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, the Chairman Hasnain Masoodi underscored that this Committee has been given an important assignment to look in alleged irregularities in implementation of JJM, a flagship initiative aimed to provide adequate and safe drinking water to public.
Sources told Cross Town News that retried IAS Officer Ashok Parmar who made various allegations over JJM scam in J&K , was invited by the House Committee to attend the meeting.
Sources said that Parmar provided documents to the Committee members.
MLAs Yusuf Taragami , Tanvir Sadiq , Altaf Kaloo , Arjun Singh Raju , Iftikar Choudhary attended the meeting as Members.
