Jammu, June 25: Shaleen Kabra, ACS/FCR , generally known for slow Actions, especially in matters related to SRO 456 of 2017 & LGs ACs two Decisions over the same issue dtd 29th Jan 2022 & dtd 25th July 2024, causing harassment to thousand of innocents of J&K UT on gair mumkin Khad.
However, today Shaleen Kabra as ACS, Jal Shakti has concluded the infamous Handwara embezzlement case involving large-scale financial irregularities in the PHE Division Handwara under the NRDWP Scheme after nearly a decade of investigations, inquiries and legal proceedings.
The department has now dismissed one in-service Government official namely Manzoor Ahmad Hajam, then Junior Assistant-from service with immediate effect, under Article 311(2) of the Constitution of India. He has also been permanently disqualified from any future Government employment.
Further, orders have been issued for the recovery of Rs 1,88,69,048 from several officials, both serving and retired, who were found responsible for fraudulent withdrawals and misappropriation of Government funds. Order copy with CTN reads as under:-
