DyCM J&K urges LG Manoj Sinha to approve Business Rules

Srinagar, June 24: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Chowdhary said that while the Central Government has sanctioned projects worth over Rs 10,000 crore for J&K, the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is yet to approve the Business Rules file, which has been pending for months.

Addressing a press conference that largely focused on the approval of infrastructure projects and the efforts of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah behind them, the Deputy CM remarked, Delhi is far, but the Secretariat and Raj Bhawan are neighbours.

He further added that I urge the LG that Delhi has given us roads and other projects, so now we hope that the Business Rules copy from the LG, which has been lying with him for four months for final approval.

Chowdhary credited the approval of projects to the hard work and consistent efforts of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
