DC Jammu Reviews Arrangements For Combined Competitive Exam Prelims

JAMMU, MARCH 15 - Deputy Commissioner Simrandeep Singh convened a meeting to review the arrangements for the JK PSC combined competitive (Preliminary) Examination, to be held on 19th March in 46 centres across district in which 24000 candidates are appearing.

During the meeting, the DC directed the Police to ensure that adequate security arrangements are made at the centres alongwith deployment of female and male police guards for frisking of the candidates.

He further directed the magistrates on duty to ensure strict observance of section144 up to 200 metres from the entrance of the centres.

The DC also directed the PDD department to ensure that electricity supply is maintained at centres during the examination.
