JAMMU, Mar 11: Interventional pain clinic procedures were inaugurated at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu on Saturday by Bali Bhagat Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education J&K.
The Health Minister himself volunteered to be the first patient to be treated in the operation theaters of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis or arthritis can compress and pinch nerves, causing inflammation and pain. The cervical epidural injection procedure involves injections into the surrounding area that help with pinched nerve pain management and decrease the swelling of the inflamed or pinched nerve(s), in addition to reducing inflammation.
On the occasion Dr Gurjeet singh Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Madhuri Slathia Medical Superintendent and others were present.
