Yasha Mudgal focussing on pushing Hurdles away  to develop World class Tourism in J&K

JAMMU, March 1:Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Yasha Mudgal has made it clear that  Department is in a process of working out different progressive concepts for substantial increase in footfall to our tourist destinations and making J&K hub of tourism all over the country.

Among several other initiatives, the department is contemplating to take up projects in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode in both the divisions for increasing tourist footfall to such locations besides adding variety of activities to perform there.

It has also decided to conduct a 3-day conference inviting high profile domain experts in areas including Administration, Hospitality, Tourism Academia, eco Tourism, IT, Travel Trade Associations, Film and Industrial sectors.

It further intends to hold shows like Grand F4 Car shows in association with private players. The department in order to showcase the stunning beauty of J&K wants to create a brand ad film and song of its own featuring it as a premier tourist destination in India besides having a brand ambassador of high repute promoting the brand J&K all over the world.

Group of People speaking to Cross Town News while appreciating new Secretary Yasha Mudgal , said that there is new hope of development of Tourist spots in Jammu and Kashmir , with new Secretary s taking steps to solve all hurdels to bring world class Tourism facilities in Jammu and Kashmir.

Poeple speaking to Cross Town News that new Secretary has given directions also to resolve issues  related to Master Plan of Tourist reas including Patnitop and subsequent implementation,  so that new Projects can be set up by People of J&K , which will develope these Tourist areas.

People said that earlier  Secretaries never focussed on implementing new Master Plans especially  Patnitop Mastsr Plan, which stopped  new developments & other side loss to Govt by way of building Permission fee but CEOs allowed illegal constructions for their interests only, moreover 
Development Act of 1970 reads to revise Mater Plans of every 05 years but for example Master Plan of Patnitop Development Authority since last 19 years because first Master Plan was notified in the year 2000 & today is 2024.
