NEW DELHI: Indian Cricketer MS Dhoni has been sacked as the skipper of Rising Pune Supergiants ahead of IPL -2017.
The news from Indian Premier League franchise to replace Dhoni with Australian captain Steve Smith has come as a shocker for all Dhoni fans a day before IPL 2017 auction date.
35-year-old MS Dhoni has been IPL’s most successful captain with Chennai Super Kings and became new IPL team RPS captain the previous year after CSK was handed a two-year suspension.
Dhoni had recently stepped down from captaincy of national ODI and T20 side.
Fans of Dhoni are showing anger over the decision of franchise.
