
Vishakhpatnam, Feb 19: Managing Director J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma gave an emphatic presentation on ensuring secure cyber space for implementation of eGovernance Plans, especially relating to industrialization during Vishakhapatnam Technology Sabha which concluded today here. It is worthwhile to mention that MD J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma is being invited on a regular basis to express his vision and share his opinion as an eGovernance expert in various national & int’l eGovernance meetings and conferences held in this domain from time to time.
In this version of Technology Sabha held at Vishakhapatnam (Vizag), which was primarily organized by Indian Express Group, the main focus hovered around transforming nation by introducing various eGovernance reforms especially by providing a safe and secure systems/platforms in which various Government departments/institutions of the nation. MD J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma, during his panel discussion on “Security in the age of Digital India” talked about ensuring secure cyber space with uniformity in standards especially for the industrial sector which holds a major proportion of GDP of the nation. Amit also suggested few reforms to be incorporated while introducing best eGov practices in Government sector, especially state-run PSUs, which were widely appreciated by the huge gathering of Technology Sabha. Others who spoke in this Panel Discussion alongwith MD J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma were Purushottam Sharma, ADGP, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Ravi Prakash Meharda, ADGP Telecom/IT, Government of Rajasthan, Major Gen Sandeep Sharma, ADG Centre for Communication Technology, Indian Army, Brijesh Singh, Spl IGP-Cyber, Government of Maharashtra and Ravi Amar, Regional Manager, Tech Consulting, HPE.
Apart from this, MD J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma also actively participated in various Power Discussions held during morning and evening sessions on the sidelines of Technology Sabha and shared his perspectives on building more simplistic models of eGov which is the ultimate objective of ‘Digital India’ Mission of Prime Minister so that the benefits can reach to the ultimate end-users which were well-noted down by all relevant stakeholders. This time, Express Technology Sabha had representation of more than 100 experts of all domains who mentioned about challenges and prospective solutions to their respective areas and a consensus was built-up towards bringing flexibility, maneuverability and uniformity in applying eGov reforms in various agencies and especially Government-run institutions wherein ample scope lies for such reformations. The Technology Sabha concluded with distribution of Express eGovernance Recognition Awards to deserving organizations/corporations which had done commendable job in this domain.
