RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 18:- District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz, today convened a meeting to discuss convergence plan 2017-18 of Rural Development Department.
The meeting was attended by ACD, CEO, Executive Engineers of PDD, PHE and R&B, PO IWMP, Chief Animal Husbandry officer, DSHO, DYSSO and other district officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that in convergence schemes, the focus should be laid on developing infrastructure. He stressed upon the officers to work in coordination and optimally utilise the funds to achieve the set targets in a time bound manner.
DDC directed the concerned departments to submit their convergence plan before 21st February so that projects are taken up at an earliest and new convergence plan for the next financial year could be formulated well in advance.
