Jalpaiguri, Feb 13: Sources said that a 13 year old minor girl has been reportdly killed by a neighbour youth of about 18 years old after she rejected his advances at Chakchaka village in Alipurduar district.
Her body was found near a river, behind her house. After committing the crime, the youth tried to commit suicide by consuming poison and was admitted to a hospital. He is still in the hospital and the locals of the area are demanding exemplary punishment for the accused. A case has been registered and investigation is going on.(Input from sources)
