Kohli urges people to give regular feedback about developmental, other initiatives



 

RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 12: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli said that maintaining peace and brotherhood among communities is the backbone for development of any region.

The Minister said this while addressing a public meeting at Kalakote, here today.

Reiterating government’s commitment for ensuring inclusive development of all communities in the state, the Minister said that government has taken many fruitful initiatives in this regard for the holistic development across all regions.

The Minister directed concerned officers to ensure time bound and effective implementation of all developmental programmes being run by the government. He also appealed the locals to avail maximum benefit from all schemes initiated by the government and urged them to give regular feedback so that the implementation of these schemes can be further streamlined.

During the public meeting, the locals apprised the Minister of various problems being faced by the people in the area seeking an early redressal to the same.

The Minister assured the people that their problems will be taken up with the appropriate authorities and efforts will be made to resolve them at the earliest.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Mumtaz Ali, SDM Kalakote Khalid Majeed beside other district officers accompanied the Minister.
