Ganga, Sunil  inaugurates 100th branch of Mount Litera Zee School at Samba

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 12: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga inaugurated 100th branch of Mount Litera Zee School at Tarore in Samba, here today.

Minister of State for Transport and Revenue, Sunil Sharma presided over the function while MLC, Firdous Ahmed Tak, was the guest of honour on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Chander Parkash Ganga appreciated the efforts of school management for bringing the world class campus and educational facilities in the area. He hoped that the campus would provide eco-friendly atmosphere with hi-tech infrastructure to the children of the area. He lauded the efforts of Chairman MLZS A.K Kapoor and his entire family in serving the society by providing quality education to the students with honesty and commitment.

The Minister asked the school management to provide quality education besides inculcating moral and value based knowledge among students so that they can be developed into a responsible citizen. He also stressed on organizing co-curricular activities alongwith academics for overall physical and mental development of the children.

Sunil Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that students are major stakeholders in strengthening the nation. He congratulated the management of the school for taking such initiative for bringing a channelized brand of education in the state to give our students the best possible facilities.

Firdous Tak applauded the role of A P Educational Trust for their remarkable journey in the field of education. He added that staying updated and competitive while seamlessly integrated into the global curriculum requires an educational institution that is forward looking, development oriented, conceptually solid and culturally rooted to the local society and MLZS Tarore is at par with all its requirements.

Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda, Managing Director-MLZS, P B Kapoor, Regional School Director, Mukesh Shelat, Prof C L Shingloo, Sister Teresita Thomas, Presentation Convent School, Advocate Sheikh Altaf, Poonam Kotwal, Rahul Kapoor, Director of the School,  Ritesh Kapoor-Trustee, Kunal Anand, Principal Pathways International School, Kathua, Sabya Sachi from Zee Learn besides local Sarpanchs were also present.

Earlier, Chairman MLZS A K Kapoor, in his welcome address apprised about the activities and facilities being provided by the institution which include both indoor and outdoor sports, digital (IWB), games, entertainment, school buses for transportation, GPS installed for safety and Wifi camp, well equipped Science, maths, computer, language laboratories and a library.

Director of the school, Rahul Kapoor, presented vote of thanks.
