NEW DELHI: Northern Railway will run a special train from April to Katra station for Vaishno Devi pilgrims from Delhi.
Special train will also be pressed for Haridwar from Malda to clear pilgrim rush during the summer season.
The Anand Vihar - Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra Bi-Weekly Express Special train will depart from Anand Vihar station at 10.20 PM on every Monday and Friday from April 3 to June 30 to reach Katra at 1 PM the next day, according to a release. In the return journey, the train will depart from Katra station at 11.50 PM on every Tuesday and Saturday from April 4 to July 1, to reach Anand Vihar at 2.05 PM the next day. It comprises 12 sleeper class, six general class and two second class-cum luggage van coaches.
