Serinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, inspected progress of work on alternative bridge at Mehjoor Nagar in Srinagar. The bridge being constructed at a cost of Rs 72 lakh parallel to the existing Mehjoor Nagar Bridge is aimed to provide succor to the commuters and ease the hardships of people particularly living in Natipora, Mehjoor Nagar and other adjoining areas.
Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned to speed up the pace of work to ensure that the said bridge is completed within shortest possible time so that and people as well as commuters are benefitted. Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Chief Engineer R&B and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
