Jammu, Feb 08: DB of J&K high Court comprising of Chief Justice N Paul VasanthaKumar & Justice Tashi Rabstan directed state to frame water policy within six weeks & produce before the court in a contempt petition.
Sanjiv Verma, Secretary, PHE who was present in the court was directed informed that draft policy was put in the public domain on 30 th Jan.for inviting objections & suggestions within 15 days.
DB also directed the Divisional Commissioner Jammu to file list of encroachers in another PIL, in which Div. Com & D.C.Jammu were present in the court sought time to file status reportregarding encroachersidentified by the multi department commettee.DB directed to list the case on 20th Feb, with directions to take steps for removal of encroachments.
