Srinagar: Landlords from Pattan whose lands were acquied by government for the road reconstruction projects protested over the non-payment of their compensation. Lot of land owners from that town assembled in Press Enclave Srinagar displaying placards with various inscriptions calling on Government to pay them the compensation without further delay.
However, even after the court directions, government has failed to give us compensation.
