No Separate Colonies For Kashmiri Pandits In Kashmir: Centre Govt07 February, 2017, By Cross Town News
Jammu, Feb 07: The Centre government on Tuesday informed Parliament there was no proposal for setting up separate colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir.
Minister of State for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir replied to the question from Ashwini Kumar of Congress in Lok Sabha.
The Minister also said there is no proposal for setting up Sainik Colonies in the state, the issue that created political chaos last year.
The minister informed the house that additional 3000 jobs will be provided to the Kashmiri Pandits besides construction of 6000 transit accommodation for them.
