DODA, Feb 07 – Deputy Commissioner Doda, Bhupinder Kumar today flagged of a tour of progressive farmers organized by "Krishi Vigyan Kendra" Doda, sponsored by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural development (NABARD) under CAT.
During the four day tour the farmers will visit the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu.
While speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner stressed that such tours will help the farmers to acquaint themselves with the best Agricultural technologies and practices for better production .He said that hilly areas have immense scope of cultivation of organic vegetables and farmers can use latest techniques to move towards commercial farming of crops to fetch good returns.
