JAMMU, Feb 06:The Supreme Court on Monday ordered the Central Government to link all mobile numbers to Aadhar card within one year to ensure that SIM cards are not misused by people and to identify those who misuse SIM cards.
The SC also advised to Central Government to adopt the new e-KYC (Know Your Customer) process and make Aadhaar mandatory to ensure that no SIM card is issued without proper and comprehensive verification.
This will help not only in controlling mis-using but also will help in reduction of corruption and militant activities as fake sims were used for that.
