Note ban announced people met heart attack: G A Mir




 
SRIGARAR, Feb 05: Hundreds of congress party protesters on Sunday assembled in Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) here in Srinagar protesting against the demonetization.
 
The supporters of congress vented their anger against the BJP-led government for ruining the economy of the country.
 
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh congress committee president G A Mir said “ The effect of scrapping old money was more brunt by poor people, while as the nears of BJP-PDP enjoyed it” Mir said when note bandi was announced large people met to either heart attack or were left with no reason except doing suicide.
 
People were forced to stay in long queue from morning to evening still they were not able to change the old notes. Mir sad when many fail to change the scrapped money in stupid time frame by Modi government they choose path of death.
 
JKPCC G A Mir while thanking to large sea of people on their participation in the protest against demonetization in SKICC said despite rain and snow people participated in the protest we welcome it.
 
In the protest besides G A Mir many spoke on the occasion and said that the sudden move of scrapping old notes led state people frustrated without Modi Ji knowing what will be its long term consequences on poor people.
 
Prominent among others present in the protest included, senior congress president, Ghulam Nabi Monga, Abdul Majeed Padder, Gulzar Wani Vice president Mohd Anwar Bhat, MLA Sopore Abdul Rasheed, MlC Bandipora Usman Majeed general secretary and others.
