SRINAGAR, JANUARY 10:- Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today undertook an onsite visit to various panchayat Halqas of Harwan Block of the District and inspected several developmental works.
The DC accompanied by the Officers inspected the proposed site for development of a playground for which over 70 kanals of land has been allotted at Darbagh.
While inspecting the site, the DC asked the concerned Officers to pace up the development works of the playground in order to ensure local youth are provided better sports facilities at the earliest.
The DC also took onsite appraisal of the works being carried out on development of spring (Amrit Sarovar) at Syedpora area at an estimated cost of Rs 1.66 lakh.
Similarly, the DC inspected the ongoing works on the construction of Health cum Nutrition Centre being executed at a cost of Rs 24 lakhs under Aspirational Block Development programme(ABDP).
On the occasion, DC instructed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the pace of works to complete the project in a time bound manner.
He asked them to maintain quality of works with visible impact on the ground. Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Yaseen Lone, Sub Divisional Magistrate East, Murtaza Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Development, Syed Farooq, Tehsildar North, Kaiser Mehmood, Block Development Officer, Raja Majid Iqbal and other concerned.
