JAMMU, JANUARY 2: The Tawi Lift Irrigation and Ravi Canals are being closed from Jan 5, 2024 for carrying out desilting/urgent repair works and modernization works.
The department has asked the concerned Executive Engineers to immediately take up all the closure works i.e. desilting of canals, urgent repairs of canals and their network and pumping machinery wherever necessary and ensure its completion well before the recharge of canals on March 3-2024.
