New Delhi, Dec 28: Finance Commission for the Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Ladakh and Lakshadweep stands constituted.
Retired IAS Officer of 1988 batch , Anil Kumar Jha, is its Chairman.
Prashant Goyal AGMUT cadre IAS Officer of 1993 batch , who is presently posted in Jammu and Kashmir is Member along with Dr Amey Sapre, Associate Professor, (NIPF) as Part-time Member.
As per details with Cross Town News , Prashant Goyal is working as Principal Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department in J&K.
The Commission will start functioning from 01 January 2024 and Chairman and other Members of the Commission will hold the office for a period of nine months.
